What are the benefits of Mind-Body training?
The benefits of yoga and meditation are as varied as the people and the reasons that they decide to attend class, ranging from the physical through to the metaphysical.
Most commonly, we find people gaining benefits in the following ways:1. Mentally by improving tolerance and resilience to stress through the application of mindfulness techniques; and 2. Physically by building/maintaining muscular strength, flexibility and range of motion in the spine and joints, allowing the body to become more limber, stronger and less likely to be injured during every day activities. The diagram to the right shows how yoga may transform the mind/body over time, however there are various scientific studies that show how the benefits of yoga and meditation manifest.

Can I see some Testimonials and Client Reviews?
Of course! We are proud to say that we have a wonderful range of clients (with different backgrounds, ages, body types, goals, interests, fitness levels and interests) who love our classes and have already provided feedback about our services. You can check out some of our recent tesimonials on the contact us page or also checkout our 5 star facebook reviews.
How can I stay up to date?
Even though people love and choose to follow small businesses on social media platforms, unfortunately only around 5% of followers actually receive status and event updates. So that you don't miss a thing, we have developed a 'no spam' Messenger Group for each of the events that people love. So, let us know what you are keen on and we will notify you directly when a new event is published. Simple but effective!

No two classes are the same; with each sequence adapted to meet the needs of the participants.
Will people look at me?
Well maybe... but who cares? Those in the class will be concerned and curious about what’s happening on their own mat, not yours. Those outside of the class are likely to be jealous of you getting some time out of your hectic schedules to sit in the sun!
Do I need to know anything else?
No don’t over think it! Just commit to attending a class before something else fills up your precious time and remember that you need to fill up your own energy reserves before spending it on others. Of course, if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
Our ethos is “nothing to prove, nothing to hide”. Embrace it!
We thank you for your interest in Sydney Parkside Yoga.
We look forward to welcoming to one of our exclusive sessions soon.
